Let's Celebrate!

I have a new sister-in-law!!! Woohoo! Do you know how amazing that is when your husband is one of 4 boys?! Don't get me wrong, I love them all, but growing up in a family of 2 girls, I love now having a sister around with my in-laws too!

We had so much fun at this wedding. My only complaint, if you could call it that: it went by way too fast.

The ladies started the day bright and early with hair & make-up:

The guys relaxed with lunch:

And on to the main event!

I wasn't lying yesterday, stunning long aisle!
 Caught ya Dan!

Love this one! (sorry its blurry...)

They played our wedding song for us. :)

 Photo bomb!

What a day! It was simply perfect. I am so happy for Meg & Dan and wish them a lifetime of happiness together.

I still want to show you the detail photos I took of this venue because it was gorgeous. Hopefully one of my friends chooses this venue down the road! I absolutely loved it!

Wedding Weekend Fun

As I'm sure you know, there are certain events that preclude the big wedding day.

I love that it allows you to spend quality time with the bride & groom, wedding party, parents, and extended family before the main event occurs and it's all a whirlwind.

Event #1: The Rehearsal & Rehearsal Dinner
Oh, and rehearsal dinner after party... :)

As this was the first wedding I've been in besides my own, I was SO nervous about walking down the aisle. At least in my own wedding I had a death grip on my dad to make sure I didn't fall. Now, it was up to me and I quickly realized at the wedding rehearsal that this aisle was loooong. It was stunning and had such a statement to it, but it was long (photos to come in the next post).

After we finished up the rehearsal and everyone knew their place, we headed out for the rehearsal dinner that J's parents were hosting. It was held at PJ's Country House. The food was fabulous, the company even better.

And on to the after party in the Seaport area of Boston

Where this may have happened.... ;)

Event #2: Beauty Prep / Bridesmaid Day

After a late night out with the bridal party, it was time to begin the beauty prep for us ladies. First stop, mani's & pedi's. The Mother of the Groom (my favorite Mother in Law in the whole wide world) was able to get the nail salon to close just for us. It.was.awesome.

Bridesmaid, MOB, Bride, Bridesmaid, MOG, Bridesmaid

After our nails were done, it was time for lunch. What goes better with lunch than wine and shots on the house...?? Thankfully they served us water too. :)

After lunch, we finished up with a few errands before heading to the parents' of the brides house to meet up with all the guys for pool time and a cookout. One last get together before the big bash!!!! More details to come (obvi).

Happy 4th of July!

A little late to the party on this one but better late than never, right? Please say right.

How was your 4th of July?

Although J & I were pretty pumped to have no plans whatsoever, that quickly changed. While out for a midnight snack with friends Tuesday night plans for the following morning quickly took shape.

You see, a friend of ours volunteered to bring his boss's boat back from Hingham harbor to Boston harbor. What a nice guy he is, right?! :)  So when he asked J & I to accompany him and his gf, who just happens to be one of my best friends from home, we jumped at the invite. We haven't been on a boat in years!

Our future home, that we'll be splitting, the 4 of us. What? There is definitely an East Wing and a West Wing. Why not?

The Blue Angels were in town for the holiday

What a pretty city.

I hope you had a great holiday! Happy Birthday America!
